The Team-amended

Suffolk FWAG are a team of dedicated and experienced advisors who specialise in environmental integration within farmed landscape. Providing expert, independent and meaningful advice to the farming and the land management sector.

Anna Beames

Chief Executive Officer

As an Environmental Conservationist and Business Developer, with over 20 years combined experience, I am keen to promote a ‘New Approach’ – one that embeds the ‘Value’ of natural capital at its heart, mitigates risk and delivers profitable and healthy production. Supporting farming towards more sustainable futures is much about knowledge sharing and building social and environmental resilience to adapt and shape change.

My role as CEO is to ensure farmers have access to exemplary advice and guidance, especially during periods of uncertainty and rapid change and Suffolk FWAG have strong foundations and a legacy of trusted advice within the farming sector. Knowledge is essential for informed decision making – enabling a more adaptive approach to farming. I believe any new environmental land management scheme can readily sit within highly productive, innovative and competitive farmed environments – it is a question of ‘optimising’ resource not ‘maximising’. There is an immense opportunity to change the way we manage land to create a ‘win-win’ scenario. Farms need to be operating as productive resilient food producers where the output is long term ‘quality’, not short-term volume that depletes natural capital. As such we have been busy expanding our ‘Advisory Portfolio’ to ensure farming in this region has a sustainable and exciting futures.

Specialist Areas: Complex Systems, Natural Capital, Ecosystem Services, Woodland & Forestry, Business Strategy and Development, Project Management, Leadership, Facilitation & Collaboration, Innovation and Best Practice.
